The aluminum wheel is significantly lighter than a cast wheel with comparable styling and similar dimensions thanks to the special flow-forming production process. This wheel and tire combination is the largest combination approved by MINI for the F54. The tires feature runflat technology (RSC), so that even if they lose pressure, they can still be driven on to the nearest MINI dealer. This 19in. wheel and tire combination is ideal for customizing the car since style 526 wheels are not available from the factory. This production technique allows the volume in the rim bed to be reduced by up to 50%.
